About this show

Maurice Kirya joined forces with the full Kampala Jazz Orchestra, conducted by Polycarp-Quincy Kyagulanyi, to reimagine twenty years of his catalogue — Stop, Beera Nabo, Boda Boda, Njagala Gwe — through brass, rhythm and strings. Staged on the green itself for a reason: proceeds went to "Save the Lungs of the City", protecting Kampala's last great green space.
